About Our CEO
Greg Hunkle is a native born Orange County resident, and began his career in construction when he was a teenager. After years of successful construction experience, Greg is considered a leader in the construction profession. His executive construction experience includes:
- Being the company owner of Newport Coast Builders that focused on installation of commercial and residential construction in Orange County, CA
- Having over 30 years of successful experience as a building code and construction inspector in Newport Coast, Emerald Bay and Coto de Caza, he was responsible for preforming a variety of public works and both commercial and residential building inspections at all stages of construction. In 1997, Mr. Hunkle became one of the first Orange County building inspectors to be “certified” by (ICBO), the International Conference of Building Officials, to perform Structural, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Inspections on industrial commercial and residential construction
- A decade of successfully teaching College level construction courses (Uniform Building code and Law and Construction inspection) at Orange Coast College to contractors, architects, engineers and students entering the construction profession
- Currently as President and CEO of KMG, Mr. Hunkle effectively manages the division and direction for KMG’s focused team to identify potential opportunities to get in front of problems and ensure projects are profitable, successful and are completed above and beyond product expectations
